Description: An open-source database of all known criminal and terrorist incidents worldwide involving WMD agents from 1900 to the present. Entries are a synthesis of multiple sources and include a detailed description of the event and a full list of citations. Six types of events are included in the database: use of agent, threatened use of agent, possession of agent, attempted acquisition of agent, plans or plots to acquire agent without operationalization, and hoaxes/pranks. While each entry provides an overall understanding of the incident based on media reports, including discrepancies among reports, the accuracy and reliability of individual sources is not assessed or verified.
